Procrastination: Cleaning the Fish Pond

I don’t think I need to fully describe the four hour process of emptying a 750-gallon fish pond, with about 30 koi, and cleaning a year’s worth of muck and bacteria laden ooze out and flooding the yard. At least my dog Cid liked it. He loves WORKING. And he’s so excited when I get a fish out.
Actually I have been working a little on my novel for adults. I love it. I don’t know why I hurl myself around trying to avoid working on it when it makes me so happy to write it. But it’s like the chair in front of the computer is electrified.
